As a bilingual psychologist, I enjoy providing services to both English-and-Spanish speaking clients who experience mood disorders (e.g., Major Depressive Disorder), Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Specific Phobias, Social Anxiety, and tic disorders. Other areas of interest include crisis intervention and interpersonal difficulties.

Therapeutic Approach

I adopt a collaborative and culturally sensitive approach to therapy with clients, using a client-centered approach and trauma-informed care. I believe that everyone has strengths and resilience factors which can help them achieve their therapeutic goals. I use evidence-based modalities and techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques.
